Depending on the type of clinical trial, trial supplies such as trial drugs or medical devices, specialised equipment, or specimen collection kit components, may be required.

  • The Hunter Cancer Biobank can assist you in your clinical trial through the following services:
    • Designing specimen collection protocols and establishing hierarchy for the cataloguing and storage of specimens
    • Provision of archival tissue to trial units (pending consent, HREC approval and Access Request Review approval)
    • Facilitating the transfer of specimens from local study sites to central laboratories
    • Processing of trial specimens for investigator driven studies (including both fresh tissue and liquid specimens)
