Test your idea; test the value of your clinical trial idea for patients, healthcare services and the community. Test the feasibility of your idea as early as you can.

When you have an idea for a clinical trial, it is very exciting – could this help people? Could this change the way we deliver healthcare. The first step though is to refine and articulate the research question/s clearly, check that the question hasn’t already been answered in another clinical trial, and undertake an assessment to determine if your idea is practical, feasible and acceptable. It’s also a good idea to check if any other clinical trial addressing your question is already in progress.
