Confidentiality and Feasibility

A confidentiality agreement is often the first step in building a relationship between a Sponsor, the investigator and your organisation. The Sponsor will want to keep information about its trial confidential and a confidentiality agreement is the mechanism used to ensure this. Following execution of the confidentiality agreement it is important for you and your team to consider if it is feasible to conduct the clinical trial in your organisation. The Sponsor will also consider if your site/ organisation is an appropriate location to conduct their study.

You may also want to have a privacy or confidentiality agreement with your site Health Consumer Representatives, which could be part of a signed involvement agreement, if you are tailoring participant information for your site. See WAHTN-CCI-Handbook (p42)
